Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the store’s daily operations run smoothly while supporting the Store Manager in achieving key performance results. This role is responsible for assisting in team leadership, customer engagement, and operational excellence. The Assistant Store Manager also helps create an inclusive and high-performance culture, ensuring both employees and customers have a positive and engaging experience.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & People Management

• Support the Store Manager in fostering an inclusive and respectful team environment where differences are valued.

• Assist in setting clear goals for the store and ensure alignment with company objectives.

• Help recruit, train, and develop a diverse and skilled team.

• Provide coaching and feedback to improve team performance and employee growth.

• Step in to resolve team concerns and work with internal HR support when needed.

Guest Experience & Community Engagement

• Lead by example to ensure exceptional customer service and engaging guest interactions.

• Address and resolve customer inquiries and escalated concerns professionally.

• Support the Store Manager in developing local relationships with community leaders, influencers, and brand partners.

• Assist in planning community-focused events, such as wellness workshops or brand meetups.

Operations & Sales Strategy

• Ensure visual merchandising is executed according to company standards.

• Oversee inventory accuracy and support product deliveries to maintain optimal stock levels.

• Contribute to sales strategies, budgeting, and team development plans.

• Monitor and improve profitability metrics in coordination with the Store Manager.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and store operational policies.

Budget & Team Oversight

• Help manage labor hours, scheduling, and team productivity.

• Support hiring, training, and performance management of store employees.

• Step in for the Store Manager when needed, ensuring leadership continuity.
